Nicole Jones Taylor

Nicole began riding horses sitting up in front of her mom before she could walk as her mother, Carol, was a full time trainer and Eventer who would travel to all the Events with Nicole as a toddler.  Nicole got the horse bug at an early age, completing her first horse trial at 7.  

Since then on it has been an exciting and successful journey for Nicole, taking a string of self trained horses from Beginner Novice to the Preliminary Level.  She has qualified for the USEA Young Rider and USEA Junior Rider of the Year 5 times for Area IX.  Her horse, Top Secret (owned by Diana K. Bush), made Area IX USEA Preliminary Horse of the Year for 2009, his first year at that level.   Nicole has taken every horse she has competed to Horse of The Year at some level since she began showing.   She is very well known in Area IX for producing all her own horses, and has never competed on a ‘made’ horse.

Nicole has her goals set on competing at the 1* & 2* Level in 2010, the National Young Rider Championships in 2010 or 2011,  & eventually the World Equestrian Games.   In the meantime she is busy producing upcoming Eventers at her family’s Farm Windyridge Thoroughbreds in Kiowa, Colorado. www.windyridgethoroughbreds.com

Nicole credits the majority of her horses comfort to the RevitaVet System.  At the 2007 American Eventing Championships Nicole was introduced to the RevitaVet System.  The Highlander arrived with a swollen tendon and was obviously uncomfortable.  After 2 treatments with the RevitaVet System he was ready to compete, saving the competition for Nicole and The Highlander.   She continues to use the system for many different therapies on her horses, always traveling  with the RevitaVet system as an important part of her program.
