Kenda Lenseigne
Kenda Lenseigne, CMSA Overall World Champion, five-time World Point Champion Cowgirl, and holder of six world records is one of Cowboy Mounted Shooting’s most renowned competitors across the nation. In 2009, Kenda made history and became the first ever woman to win the Overall World Championship, beating out all men and women to claim this prestigious title. She is also a 3 time Reserve World Champion Cowgirl and National Champion Cowgirl. Not only is she one of the top competitors in the sport, but she also is a highly respected mounted shooting horse trainer, clinician and riding instructor. Clients come from all points of the United States to train with her.
Kenda is a member of the Circle Y Team of Champions. Circle Y is America’s Leading Saddle Brand and has taken the opportunity to work side by side with her to design the Kenda Lenseigne Quick Shot Shooter, and the Kenda Lenseigne Rundown Shooter, two saddles specifically made for mounted shooting. She is also a member of the Cimarron Firearms Team and is currently working with Cimarron to develop the “KL” signature line of guns for the Cimarron Brand. Kenda also has a signature mounted shooting rein that bears her brand and name, along with a gun rig she designed crafted by Alfonso’s of Hollywood.
Kenda also endorses Professional’s Choice Sports Medicine Products, Panhandle Slim Clothing, and the Milano Hat Company. She is currently the only competitor of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association to represent the sport under their name.
Other companies that have chosen to be a part of Kenda’s endorsement team are Twisted X Boots, Barranada Shirts, RevitaVet Therapeutic Systems, and Circle E Blanks, all of which have her representing their company at every competition across the country.
Kenda, and her horse Justin, have been featured in numerous print publications, including the January 2009 and December 2009 issues of Western Horse-man, plus covers of Western Shooting Horse Magazine, CMSA Rundown and the Mounted Shooters World. She has also been featured in Rodeo News, Northern Horse Source, Cowgirl Action Shooting, California Riding Magazine, Shoot Magazine, and many newspaper publications. Kenda is featured in Horses and Highways; an on-going press release publication that places her as a lead subject as it fol-lows along her tour of the current year. She has also been spotlighted in interviews for RFD TV and the Outdoor Channel, as well as radio appearances and news broadcasts across the nation.
